About

Let's see, I'm a student at USC, I'm well-rounded (or very much try to be), I like to think of myself in terms of "sponge", or "glue." And I'm an incredibly "big-picture" person. I like to find connections and metaphors in things that apparently have nothing to do with each other, and make something new and innovative, . .hopefully. So that takes me to my major, Industrial and Systems Engineering, which blends business, math, and engineering skills to make things more efficient. But I've been a lifelong visual artist as well, and I'm still finding out a way to merge that with my major. We'll see how that goes.
Anyway, what you will hopefully find here is a synthesis, however poorly blended, of some of life's most transcendent pleasures: ART, ELECTRONIC DANCE MUSIC, and LIGHTS! Which leads to other things like discussing the existence of UFO's and the possible apocalyptic Event on December 12, 2012.
Art/ Skills: I work in all styles; a good artist can imagine anything, and create anything. Digital (Photoshop, Illustrator, Corel Painter), Traditional (graphite, watercolor, acrylic, oil, pastel, color pencil, linoleum block, monoprints), 3D (Maya, IronCAD)
Web Design: HTML, basic CSS and Javascript, Dreamweaver, some Flash CS3
So I'm one of those Asian engineers-who-really-wants-to-be-an-artist, but we're not really sure what'll pay the bills. Right now I'm working on finishing my degree, while working as a project lead in the USC GamePipe program and doing freelance design work on the side. By May we will have a finished game demo to show industry folks, and I will be posting the installables and exe here so you guys can play. Meanwhile, it's a surprise!
Interests: Art, dance (house, hip hop choreo) and glowsticking, electronic dance music and all-night heathen dance parties, philosophy and metaphysics, feminism, shamanism, lights and art created with light, though that doesn't mean I'm any good at or knowledgeable of any of the above.
